With only 3 more days till Christmas I hope the festive spirit has entered your home. I must say this is my most favourite time of year and this year is extra special as we have a new little baby in our family. Life is good and we are blessed!

Some new layouts to share

Now, I know I have been quiet and not blogging much, but I have been scrapping! Here are a few of my latest creations!

This first on is using Echo Park's Little Boy range.... not sure how much longer I'll be able to give Ruddick piggy-back rides, he's growing SO fast but for now I'll just treasure these moments!

This next one is using Bo Bunny's Forever Fall..... featuring yip, my precious nephew once again.

This next LO features one of my favourite photos- Ruddick and my mom. I used Bo Bunny's Garden Girl and the bling is ZVA creative.

My most recent LO is this one(using My Minds Eye- Lime Twist), I created this as part of a scraplift chain over at My Scrapbook Nook. It's such a wonderful online community. You should do yourself a favour and stop by for a visit or even better join us ;0)

All things baby....

Some of you may have been wondering why I've been SO quiet recently, well apart from a VERY CRAZY end of term it is because I've been making "secret plans and clever tricks" (Roald Dahl) My "little" sister is expecting again and this time it's a.........

I created this banner for her baby shower which I hosted yesterday afternoon and just in case you've missed it, I used Bo Bunny's Crazy Love and Crush lines to make it and these darling little shoes as a Thank you gift for all the guests
I found the template for these shoes here

Now, you may be thinking that those little bits don't take all that much time, BUT planning and decorating the nursery does ;0)
I loved helping to prepare for Ruddick's arrival and this time we had his help to prepare for his little sister or "my baby" as he says!

The BIG REVEAL
You can't see it all that clearly but this little banner has a stork that I've cut out using my cricut and the "Sugar and Spice Cricut Lite" cartridge and of course Bo Bunny's Crush.

Not everything is homemade, Mom and I found a gorgeous baby shop and just fell in love with the colours and the designs and so we shopped up a storm! We spent all of yesterday morning cleaning, decorating and unpacking

This time, Bronwen got her rocking chair- her wish is our command( well, sort of) Dad spent hours painting and sanding to make sure it was perfect! Mom organised cushions to be made and ties to be sewn on.

This is the little lamp I painted, Dad made it. Once I'd found the image I wanted and it was the correct size, Dad set about cuting it out and assembling the lamp ready for painting and then finished it off with the wiring and the globe!

Love this picture, Ruddick is filling his mommy in on all that we had been up to that morning.....

Nothing like a GROUP HUG to share the joy!

Can you see the joy in his face? Love this little boy SO much and soon I'll have another little angel in my life........

Layout Challenge Friday at Bo Bunny

This is the sketch, designed by Irene Tan, the DT got to play with this week.

This is my interpretation of the sketch using bo Bunny's Zoology collection! This collection is just awesome for us South African scrappers. After all we do have "The BIG Five" in our backyard so to speak! Except that does not include tigers! So I had to make a plan and when I saw these 'tiger feet' at Woolies, I just couldn't resist!
Now, I know many of us choose outfits and plan colours specifically for a layout we have in mind, but this I think may just be a first, buying a toy for a scrapping opportunity!!

Bo Bunny May Blog hop Number 2

Welcome to today's Bo Bunny Blog Hop!!!

Now onto my project for today!

I created a small wall hanging. It measures 6.5" x 6". The base is a piece of chipboard leftover from a Bo Bunny word album.

I used the Gabrielle range of papers and embellishments. To add dimension I used the buttons in two sizes and bakers twine to tie the little knots.

The fringe on the bottom is one of the Gabrielle trims which I've stapled on to make it more secure.

This last photo shows how I cut around the wings of the butterfly so that I could raise the wings, to give the illusion of movement.

Gosh, time really flies when you're having fun! This last few weeks have been crazy!! It is now school holidays (a whole week....but that is better than nothing) and so after spending the last 5 days cleaning my scrap space.......I thought it was high time I got creative! In my daily browse on the net I found this awesome blog " The Scrap Farm"belonging to the very talented Melinda Spinks. Without further ado, here is my project.

I used the Bo Bunny "I love you" word album to create this mini album in celebration of my parent's 40th Wedding Anniversary! To say that I'm so proud they are my parents is an understatement! :0)

As you can see Bo Bunny's "Crush" paper and embellishment range fitted this project PERFECTLY!!

On this page I used on of our cream gardenia petals and as it wasn't quite the match I used chalk ink to add some colour!

I used the tree from the 12x12 chipboard together with this photo as it is the beginning of a "new" family tree or rather an added "branch"

Christmas Decorations

I created this triangular decoration by altering a pyramid box pattern and then used Bo Bunny Noel goodness to finish it.

This little angel is a children's craft idea I found in a book. I used Winter Joy here

This is my favourite piece, it reads " Believe in the magic of Christmas" once again I used Bo Bunny Noel products. I just LOVE this range.

Bo Bunny LOs

For "Sunday's Best" I used "Cambridge" papers. I really enjoyed creating this LO. Being challenged to name my favourite day of the week was quite something ;0)

and the start of something new! I received my box (or perhaps I should say treasure trove) from Bo Bunny and all I can say is WOW! The new ranges from CHA are just gorgeous and great fun to work with.

My first two DT projects are up on the Bo Bunny blog why not hop over and have a look! The ladies in this Design Team are SOOOOOOOOO talented!

This card is based on a sketch, using the Olivia Range.

I altered this clipboard using the Learning Curve range. The New petals are so much fun to use..

Feeling creative

This first LO is using BoBunny's Sun kissed range of paper. It is really bright and fun to create with

In this LO I took inspiration from a friend, Candice Greenway and scraplifted one of her more recent LOs.

This Lo, I started a while ago but it didn't look finished so with a few more embells I think it's done.

He asked me what it was and once he knew it was used to cut paper, he just had to give it a try

My dad has been really busy turning these Christmas tree ornaments! He entered them in his year end Guild Comptition. Most were sold at Baynesfield.... but a few now hang on our tree.
